Excellent addition to R/O system

Easy to install as last unit on my R/O system - fortunately electric connection was readily available. No problems. Clean pure water. Built in switch only turns on the uv light when water moves through the system - should save on the bulb and electricity use. R/O system feeds both my drinking water and my fridge ice-maker.

I've not tested the water to ensure it is working, but you can see the light go on when you turn on the water spout because the inflow and outflow connectors glow when the UV light comes on. The flow switch works perfectly and installation was fairly easy. I added this into my system as the last stage (after the mineral stage). Ensure you have a free 110 volt electrical outlet to plug this into for installation or use a multi-outlet. I had to use a multi-outlet as I only have two outlets under the sink and have a dishwasher, garbage disposal and now this UV light. But it works fine. Doesn't seem to draw too much electricity as I haven't had any issues with all three appliances running at once on a 15 amp circuit. I haven't tripped the breaker anyway. It's does not change the flavor of the water as all it does is flood the water with UV to kill pathogens (bacteria, viruses, etc).
